Scriptural Call to Worship: Abiding In Christ

  • Pastor: Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.        John 15:4
  • Congregation: Lord, we gather this morning to abide in You. Forgive us for our sins in word, thought, and in deed. We confess Christ alone as our eternal hope of salvation and abiding life.
  • Pastor: Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  1 John 4:15
  • Congregation: I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ Who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.       Galatians 2:20
  • All together: By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.     I John 4:13
