Scriptural Call to Worship: The Unsearchable Greatness of God
Pastor: Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways!
Congregation: For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor?
Or who has given a gift to Him that he might be repaid?
Pastor: For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever.
Congregation: The Lord reigns; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake! The Lord is great in Zion; He is exalted over all the peoples.
Let them praise Your great and awesome name! Holy is He!

Q. How does the knowledge of God’s creation and providence help us?
A. We can be patient when things go against us,1 thankful when things go well,2 and for the future we can have good confidence in our faithful God and Father that nothing in creation will separate us from His love.3 For all creatures are so completely in God’s hand that without His will they can neither move nor be moved.4
