Brian was born and raised in southern California in a Roman Catholic home. He came to Christ at age 19 as a student at Chico State University in northern California. After college and prior to seminary, Brian worked for a commercial real estate firm and then Campus Crusade for Christ. After he sensed a call to pastoral ministry in the 1990s, Brian and Anna moved to Jackson, MS, for seminary. Brian earned his MDiv at Reformed Theological Seminary in 2003 and his Doctor of Ministry in ecclesiastical history at RTS Charlotte. His area of focus was on the early American Presbyterian Jonathan Dickinson’s efforts to form a healthy church in a time of rapidly changing culture, much like our own day. Brian and Anna are the parents of seven wonderful children.
