Scriptural Call to Worship: Exodus 15
Pastor: I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted.
Congregation: The Lord is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
Pastor: The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is His name.
Your right hand, Lord, was majestic in power.
Your right hand, Lord, shattered the enemy.
In the greatness of Your majesty You threw down those who opposed You.
Congregation: Who among the gods is like You, Lord?
Who is like You—majestic in holiness,
awesome in glory, working wonders?
Pastor: In Your unfailing love You will lead the people You have redeemed.
In your strength You will guide them to Your holy dwelling.
Congregation: The nations will hear and tremble;
The Lord reigns for ever and ever.
Sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted.
Christus Victor

Q. What do we pray for in the fifth petition of the Lord’s Prayer which is, “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors”?
A. We pray that God, for Christ’s sake, would freely pardon all our sins; which we are the rather encouraged to ask, because by His grace we are enabled from the heart to forgive others.
