A Word from Chris Taylor / Contemporary Worship Leader
Good morning church! As always, I am excited to worship with you on Sunday. This whole set is exciting to me. It is meant to bring focus to the joy of new life in Christ. The freedom we have in Christ, our Rock through the ages. The open arms of the Savior welcoming us gladly, patiently, lovingly, and graciously. The wonder and beauty of the world seen through the eyes of our Jesus! I have this picture of Jesus in my head that I can’t shake! I remember being a young kid and my dad picking me up after I took a fall and putting me on his shoulders, dancing around, joking, and laughing. This is the way I see Jesus. He picks us up off the ground after we have fallen in sin, welcomes us, puts us on his shoulders, and then we dance on the broken chains of our sin! Jesus has freed us from our bonds. He has chased us down and grabbed us from death itself. He has saved us! Today because of the death and resurrection of Jesus, we dance on broken chains!
