Reckless Love —- NEW!!
Jesus We Love You
Special – Lamb Of God

This week we are excited to introduce a new song called “Reckless Love!” The closer we get to Good Friday and Easter, the more this song seems to fit. “Oh the overwhelming, never ending, reckless love of God. It chases me down, fights ‘til I’m found, leaves the 99. I couldn’t earn it, I don’t deserve it, still you give Yourself away. Oh the overwhelming, never ending, reckless love of God!”  I love this song so much.  It paints the picture of Christ as a shepherd who leaves the 99 of the flock to find the one lost sheep, even to the sacrifice of himself! The scriptures tell us in Phil 2:8 that He was obedient even to the point of death.  Regarding Christ’s “reckless” love, we don’t mean that God’s love is expressed without thought or care.  We mean that God’s love shows no mercy to our idols, our sins, or our enemy.  For our sake, he obliterated sin, satan, and death.  In order to save his people, Christ purposefully and personally chased us down and destroyed our enemy by willingly sacrificing himself! Oh the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God!  – Chris Taylor
