AnitaTribute to Anita McCombs
Anita McCombs has been a beloved part of our Surfside PCA family for many years.  She went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, Mar. 29, 2015.  Anita will be dearly remembered in our hearts in so many different ways by each of us.  Some will think of her with joy and praise on their lips as they remember walking down the aisle at church and seeing Anita’s arms raised and smile beaming as she worshiped her Lord. Others will find themselves wandering into the fellowship hall, missing her warm greeting, as she faithfully served donuts and hot coffee to those she considered her family in what she considered her home. Others will offer prayers of thanksgiving to Jesus,  reflecting on Anita’s selfless and countless hours of service, as she cared for the sick and the elderly of our community.  For many of us, we would never have made it through some very difficult times without the constant love and compassion she so mercifully showed to our us and our loved ones. Anita stepped into heaven and into the arms of her loving Savior. I have no doubt, as one friend has said and caused us to smile, Anita will be helping to prepare the Great Banquet Table and will be there ready to greet us each as we come to The Great Wedding Feast!  We have been truly blessed to have known and have shared our lives with Anita McCombs.

These are difficult days in our world’s history. 1.75 billion people are desperately poor, natural disasters are gouging entire nations, and economic uncertainty still reigns across the globe. But we have been given an opportunity to make a big difference. What if we did? What if we rocked the world with hope? Infiltrated all corners of the Grand Strand with God’s love and life? We were created by a great God to do great works. He invites us to outlive our lives, not just in heaven, but here on earth, right here in Myrtle Beach. This study will help us to learn how to live our lives in such a way that will bless our neighbors and the world.  Please pray about joining us for this exciting five week study!  To get a feel for this study, click here:
